Judging from Instagram, celebrity lives can seem incredibly glamorous.

An Australian comedian and mother named Celeste Barber, however, is poking fun at these ultra fancy posts through her own popular Instagram account. Specifically, Barber facetiously recreates a lot of well-known images of celebrity mothers, playfully challenging the notion that the stars are "just like us."

One image, for example, contrasts a photo of her in gym gear to an image of reality star Kourtney Kardashian looking fit in workout attire less than a year after Kardashian gave birth to her third child:

Barber also juxtaposed a family photo of her own child getting distracted and moving beside an image of Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and their child North looking poised for the camera:

"Dear Kim, please guide me, oh wise one, as to how I can earn the money that you do to create such glorious family photo booth pics," Barber wrote on Instagram. "I wait for your response with breath that is baited."

She also shared a photo of model Chrissy Teigen's svelte appearance shortly after giving birth, in comparison to her own crop top photo pose:

Barber told The Huffington Post that she wants to show how differently her life as a mother and a person is from how celebrity lives appear in various forms of media.

“It can be pretty hard to just get through a day sometimes,” Barber told the publication. “I hope mums get a laugh out of my stuff while doing the washing, cooking dinner, helping with homework, satisfying partners and necking a cleanskin."

ATTN: has reached out to Barber for further comment and will update this post if she responds.

Barber also recreates photos of celebrities who aren't parents to highlight how differently they live compared to many people:
