John Legend Calls out Sexist Parenting Double Standard

Model Chrissy Teigen openly struggled with fertility before she became pregnant with her daughter, Luna, who was born last month.
Though it was exciting for Teigen and her husband John Legend to welcome their first child into the world, Teigen was swiftly subjected to criticism from trolls on her parenting choices. When she went out to dinner a few weeks ago, some called her a bad mom for spending a few hours away from her kid.
Legend is fed up with this judgmental treatment of his wife as well.
The singer tweeted on Tuesday that there's a double standard between the way we treat moms compared to dads.
"Funny there's no dad-shaming," he wrote. "When both of us go out to dinner, shame both of us so Chrissy doesn't have to take it all. We'll split it."
