The Former President of Mexico Just Unleashed a Tweetstorm Against Donald Trump

May 7th 2016

The former President of Mexico continues to voice his criticism of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, but this time through Twitter.

On Friday, Vicente Fox unleashed a series of Tweets calling out Trump's hypocrisy in his plans to "bring back" jobs to America.

Trump previously vowed to recover jobs from China and other foreign countries if elected to office. But Fox slammed Trump for outsourcing jobs for his clothing line while continuing to favor anti-immigration policies and preach anti-immigration rhetoric.

In an interview with CNN earlier this week, Fox elaborated on this point, questioning Trump's integrity.

"What is the integrity of this man? What is the consistency of his positions when he is importing apparel goods, ties, shirts to benefit his business--Trump business--and, of course, cancelling your jobs. By importing jobs from China, he's not committing with his promise to you as workers that he would defend jobs. This is the worst thing that you can do, and he's doing it every day."

This isn't the first time that Fox spoke out against Trump.

In an interview with Fusion earlier this year, Fox famously cursed out Trump's proposal to build a giant wall along the U.S. and Mexico border that the Mexican people would have to pay for.

When asked about Trump's proposal, Fox told Fusion, "I’m not going to pay for that f---ing wall. He should pay for it. He’s got the money."

Trump has since demanded an apology, which Fox conceded to doing Wednesday. In an exclusive interview with Breibart, Fox publicly apologized to Trump for his emotional response but urged Trump to get know the people and place of Mexico, and even extended his help.

“I can convince him to think intelligently,” he told Breibart.
