The NY Daily News Just Made the Most Damning Donald Trump Comparison Ever

Sunday's New York Daily News has Donald Trump taking on Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, and the publication doesn't mince words. On the heels of Trump victories in the Louisiana primary and Kentucky caucuses on Super Saturday, the cover viciously attacks the GOP presidential candidate, proclaiming: "TRUMP IS HITLER."

Here's the bold, all-caps declaration below:

They aren't the only ones saying it either. Comedian Louis C.K. also graces Sunday's Daily News cover with Trump, and there's a reason. In a cautionary note Saturday morning, the comic blasted the Manhattan businessman, asking readers to see the similarities between Trump and Adolf Hitler:

"Please stop it with voting for Trump. It was funny for a little while. But the guy is Hitler. And by that I mean that we are being Germany in the ’30s. Do you think they saw the shit coming? Hitler was just some hilarious and refreshing dude with a weird comb over who would say anything at all.”

Saturday Night Live also got in on the action, with a parody video depicting a Trump supporter talking about how the GOP front-runner will boost the economy. As the speaker raises his arm, however, we see the gag: a Nazi armband.

The analysis may seem harsh, but given some of the proposals out of the Trump camp — from registering all Muslims to proposing mass deportations to his bizarre request that Florida supporters pledge their loyalty to him at a recent campaign stop — it's also feeling like less and less of a stretch to many that are following the 2016 elections.

The Donald may finally be feeling the squeeze of this criticism as well; the candidate stated that any hate group is "no good with Donald Trump" after his wins Saturday night.
