Here Are All the Jabs Trump Has Made at Megyn Kelly

January 27th 2016

Donald Trump is heating up in the polls but that doesn't mean his vitriolic feud with FOX News host Megyn Kelly is on hold.

Trump's most recent punch at the Fox News host came today.

Just last night, Trump's campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski was also thought to be throwing shade. Following Tuesday's announcement that Republican front runner Donald Trump will be boycotting Thursday's GOP debate, Politico reporter Hadas Gold tweeted a statement from a Fox News spokesperson claiming Lewandowski threatened Kelly.

While the Trump campaign has yet to comment on Lewandowski's conduct or alleged threats, Trump voiced his outrage against the network in a tweet.

The spat between Trump and Kelly has been brewing since the first GOP debate in August, when Kelly asked the candidate to defend his use of degrading, sexist language. The two have been sparring since, and the feud exploded this week after Trump told CNN he was considering skipping the debate if Kelly was not replaced as a moderator.

After the CNN interview, Trump was quick to change his mind and officially announced that he would not be attending Thursday's debate.

Though Trump's boycott is unprecedented, his attacks on Kelly are not. The candidate took to Twitter on December 15th, the day of the CNN debate, to slam Kelly.

While Kelly said she hoped they could move past the feud in an October spot on "Charlie Rose," Trump went after the host a month later, criticizing polls aired on her show, "The Kelly File."

Tensions between Trump and Kelly have be traced back to the August 7th CNN interview following the first GOP debate, when Trump said the Fox host had "blood coming out of her wherever" and many interpreted the jab as a misogynistic reference reference to Kelly's menstrual cycle.

Kelly declined to comment, while Trump denied the claim and continued to attack the FOX host in a series of snarky tweets about her reporting, appearance, and vacation schedule.

FOX News Chairman and Chief Executive Roger Ailes answered Trump's tirade in a statement to the Los Angeles Times saying, “Megyn Kelly is an excellent journalist and the entire network stands behind her — she will absolutely be on the debate stage on Thursday night."

While the network has said that Trump is still welcome to attend the debate, Trump is allegedly dodging calls and says he will only deal with Rupert Murdoch.
