Pundits Just Criticized the #Justice4All Protesters. Jon Stewart Responded Brilliantly Last Night.

December 18th 2014

Jon Stewart recently made waves when he broke character after the Eric Garner grand jury decision, saying "I don’t know. I honestly don’t know what to say. If comedy is tragedy plus time, I need more f**king time. But I would really settle for less tragedy to be really f**king honest with you.”

Since then, tens of thousands of protesters across the nation have marched under the banner of #Justice4All, fighting to end police brutality, racism, and a lingering sense of impropriety with regards to the deaths of Mike Brown, Eric Garner and Tamir Rice.

Naturally an array of pundits tried to smear the protesters, saying that "blocking traffic is an act of violence" and that the protesters were "wreaking havoc" by obstructing Christmas shoppers.

Watch Jon Stewart respond brilliantly:

Stewart also defends athletes who are criticized by pundits for wearing "I Can't Breathe" T-shirts.
