Google just released their Year in Search for 2015.
Lamar Odom was the most searched person and term of the year.
- The Former NBA Star, arguably more famous for his marriage and divorce from Khloe Kardashian, had a rough year to say the least. Odom made headlines everywhere after he was found unresponsive in a Nevada brothel.
- Sports and Keeping Up With the Kardashian fans everywhere took to their search engines to discuss the disturbing details in Odom's overdose.
Ruby Rose and Charlie Sheen were the most searched actress and actor, respectively.
- Ruby Rose broke hearts across gender lines when she appeared as Piper Chapman's love interest in Netflix's Orange is the New Black.
- The model turned actress was applauded for her open discussion of gender fluidity and challenging gender stereotypes.
- Charlie Sheen has a quite year if you compare it to the one he spent running around with porn stars, bragging about tiger blood.
- But the iconic actor made it back into everyone's search bars when he revealed that he is HIV positive, receiving both love and hate for his open honesty.
Caitlyn Jenner was the second most Googled person (after Lamar Odom) and the 4th most searched term overall.
- From the moment Vanity Fair revealed Caitlyn's cover, Jenner became one of the most divisive people of 2015.
- Jenner became the subject of countless internet memes, articles critiquing her high profile transition, and was recognized by both the ESPYs and Glamour.
Hillary Clinton did not make the Top 10 of most searched politicians.
- Apparently everyone already knows everything about Hillary Clinton, or they just don't care.
- The top five most searched politicians (in order) were: Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders, Carly Fiorina, Ben Carson, and Ted Cruz.
Ronda Rousey was your most searched athlete in 2015.
- Rousey was the most Googled athlete regardless of gender, even though she had a lot to say about gender this year.
- In 2015, Rousey also made news for taking on body image haters, Feeling the Bern, and getting lit about marijuana drug testing.
"How to do the Kylie Jenner lip challenge?" was the most searched beauty questions this year.
- The youngest Kardashian stole the spotlight from her sisters with a bizarre trend where teens were trying to look like her by bruising their lips.
- Kylie also made noise this year by posing in a wheelchair for a fashion shoot and exempting herself from California drought regulations.
Paris was the only non-entertainment search term to make the top 10 list.
- Unfortunately, Paris made headlines in November following a series of shooting attacks and bombings on the French capital.
- Things got even more buzz when ISIS claimed responsibility for the attacks and the world came together to support Paris.
