Following the horrific Paris attacks that reportedly left at least 60 dead on Friday, the hashtag #PorteOuverte, which translates to "open door," began trending on social media.

France closed its borders on Friday and up to 100 people are being held hostage at a Bataclan concert hall. According to the AP, at least 15 people were killed at the show.

Parisians are sharing #PorteOuverte to offer shelter and support during this chaotic and frightening time.
