Powerful Twitter Reactions to the Umpqua Community College Shooting

October 1st 2015

In light of the shooting at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon, where at least 10 are dead and 20 injured, many have taken to social media to express their frustration over the frequency of mass shootings in the United States. There have been 45 school shootings this year, and there have been 142 since the Sandy Hook shooting in December 2012 in Newtown, Connecticut, according to Everytown for Gun Safety, a non-profit that tracks gun violence.

In all ten of these chilling tweets, people say the exact same thing: they're tired of the same story of mass shootings reoccurring so often in America.
