UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey is loved by many for her blunt comments about fighter Floyd Mayweather and criticism of harsh drug testing policies in boxing, but UFC legend David "Tank" Abbott is not so impressed with her. During an appearance on the podcast "The Proving Ground," Abbott made sexist comments about Rousey's abilities and attacked her gender.

Rousey recently made headlines for saying she could beat Mayweather in a "no rules" match, but Abbott doubts this would happen because she is a woman.

"She's a girl," he said. "It's all about this emotional stuff. I will tell you this. I will fight any woman on this earth for free ... She will have to make me a sandwich [afterward]. That's what I get for winning. If she beats me, she gets a million dollars."

He then issued a formal challenge to fight any woman out there willing to take him on.

“You can’t be, like, a tranny, like a GBG," he said. "You gotta be a female. Born a female. I will fight you, I won't even train, I will fight you, and guess what? If I win, which is going to happen, and you're going to get bashed up good, you have to make me a sandwich. If you win, I’ll give you a hundred thousand dollars.”

Rousey has yet to respond publicly.

Earlier this year, Rousey took home the ESPY for Best Fighter of the Year. She also recently defeated Bethe Correia to retain her UFC title in a fight that lasted slightly more than 30 seconds.

ESPN Women voted Rousey the Best Female Athlete Ever. She's one of the most popular mixed martial artists in the world, and she even appeared in the "Entourage" and "Furious 7" movie this summer.

During Rousey's Reddit AMA this summer, she discussed the unfair treatment of famous and non-famous women alike.

"Women are constantly being made to feel the need to conform to an almost unattainable standard of what’s considered attractive so they can support a multitude of industries buying shit in the pursuit of reaching this standard," Rousey said.

During the AMA, a user asked whether Rousey believed she could defeat Mayweather, whom she recently called out for his domestic violence history. Rousey seemed doubtful about competing with him in a match with rules, but said she could beat anyone in a "no rules" fight.

"Floyd is one of the best boxers of all time," Rousey said. "He would definitely beat me in a boxing match. I unfortunately don't get into 'matches'. I fight for a living. In a no rules fight, I believe I can beat anyone on this planet. Boxing is a sweet science with strict rules that I respect very much and aspire every day to improve at. But you said ruleless fight, and that's my honest answer."
