In this new video made exclusively for attn and Yahoo, Grace Parra, a millennial voter and first generation Mexican American, details her views on America's broken immigration system and states why she supports the DREAM Act.

"By granting citizenship to the 65,000 undocumented seniors who graduate American high schools each year, the US would be sending a clear message of support and consideration for young immigrants," she says.

In 2012, President Obama announced that there would be no more deportation of young unauthorized immigrants who match the parameters set by the DREAM Act, but we still need to go further by granting citizenship to these individuals. "Not granting these students citizenship particularly after having spent years in our educational system is a detriment, not only to the students themselves but to our own nation," Parra exclaims.
