Amy Poehler & Seth Meyers' Response to A Sexist Sport Writer Is Marvelous

A Sports Illustrated writer tweeted that women's sports are not worth watching, giving Amy Poehler and Seth Meyers a chance to reunite on "Late Night" and really dig in to his comment.   

Andy Benoit, a writer for the magazine known for its annual issue of women in bikinis (none of whom are professional athletes), showed some disdain for women's sports during the Women's World Cup. That's when he got called out:

The response from Poehler and Meyers is hilarious, as well as encouraging. 

"I think a lot of people would love to watch you say that to Serena Williams," Poehler says. 

"You can't give it up for a group of women who are representing the U.S. against the world, yet I bet you are the same guy who sits inside on a nice day and watches he NFL draft..." Meyers says.  

“No more tweeting, Benoit. You’re too dumb," Poehler says.
