Donald Trump’s plan to gut Bears Ears national monument will allow over 2 million acres of burial grounds and cultural sites to be ripped apart for mining and oil drilling. President Trump would be overturning a protection President Obama finally granted to Native Americans in 2016. The tribes plan to sue Trump for overturning the decision.
