America Should Respect Its Teachers Like Finland Does

Teachers in Finland are respected, resulting in Finland’s students having some of the highest test scores in the world. Timo Lankine, Director General of the National Board of Education in Finland, describes how teachings is one of the most popular jobs. In America, teachers are undervalued, classrooms are overcrowded, and most teachers have to take second jobs to make ends meet.
