What We Know About the Possible Mall Shooting in North Carolina

Reports are coming in that there may have been a shooting at the Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh, N.C.

According to WRAL, police haven't yet confirmed gun shots were fired inside the mall, and no one is being let in or out. No injuries or fatalities have been reported.yet

Mall employees and customers have taken to Twitter to explain what's happening inside the mall, many claiming they heard multiple gun shots.

The shooter has not been apprehended at the time of writing. According to a journalist for WNCN, at least 100 people were taken from the mall to a Marriott nearby after shots were heard. One Twitter user claimed the shots started inside the food court.

According to ABC11, eyewitnesses say at least five shots were fired, and one eyewitness in the food court played dead to avoid getting shot, until another mall goer urged her to leave the premises.

One Twitter user posted a photo of what appears to be someone leaving the mall on a stretcher.
