Megyn Kelly Could Have Some Damning Allegations Against Fox News Head Roger Ailes

July 19th 2016

Megyn Kelly, political commentator at Fox News, has remained silent over recent allegations of sexual harassment from Fox News Head, Roger Ailes.

We might have learned the reason why.

Reports have emerged from unnamed sources that Kelly allegedly experienced sexual harassment from Ailes about 10 years ago, according to New York Magazine:

"According to two sources briefed on parent company 21st Century Fox’s outside probe of the Fox News executive, led by New York–based law firm Paul, Weiss, Kelly has told investigators that Ailes made unwanted sexual advances toward her about ten years ago when she was a young correspondent at Fox. Kelly, according to the sources, has described her harassment by Ailes in detail."

Ailes could face the end of his 20-year run as CEO of Fox News.

Harassment allegations began with former Fox staffer Gretchen Carlson, who filed a lawsuit against Ailes for sexual harassment. She alleges that Ailes fired her because she spoke out against the harassment. In the lawsuit, Carlson states that Ailes told her, "I think you and I should have had a sexual relationship a long time ago, and then you’d be good and better and I’d be good and better," The New York Times reports.

Politico reports that Kelly has not communicated with Carlson's legal team.

Ailes has a deadline.

New York Magazine also reported that lawyers for 21st Century Fox allegedly gave Ailes a deadline of August 1 to resign. If he does not, he could be fired.
