2 Men Shot Dead at UCLA Campus as School Remains on Lockdown

Two men were shot and killed in a murder-suicide by a shooter on UCLA's campus, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. 

Police could not confirm if there were other injuries, Los Angeles Police Officer Norma Eisenman told ATTN:. 

The shooter, a white male, is reportedly wearing a black jacket and black pants, according to the Daily Bruin. 

Local news station KTLA reported seeing police and a stretcher brought onto the campus. The shooting was first reported at Boelter Hall, an engineering building, at about 10 a.m. PST, according to KTLA.

Students were told to stay inside school buildings and dorms. The campus is on lockdown.

Two years ago seven people were killed and 13 wounded near the UC Santa Barbara campus, according to The Los Angeles Times.
