Twitter Just Decided the 10 Things That Are Safer Than a Donald Trump Rally

March 21st 2016

Drinking leaded water from Flint, Michigan taps, eating a potentially E. coli-ridden burrito from Chipotle, or, say, being a Black person at a Ku Klux Klan rally, is #SaferThanATrumpRally, according to Twitter.

Those and a number of other risky activities are all supposedly safer than attending a rally for the Republican frontrunner, according to a tongue-in-cheek hashtag making the rounds on Monday.

1. Going aboard the Titanic.

2. Walking through a busy intersection.

3. Trying to jump your car over a ravine.

4. Boulder gymnastics.

5. Being "Tank Man."

6. Chilling in Mordor.

The hashtag comes as Trump faces mounting criticism over his often-raucus rallies, which in recent weeks have played host to brawls, screaming matches, and major demonstrations.

7. A pit of snakes.

8. Using a saw with a plastic bag on your head.

9. Being in a relationship with O.J.

10. Drinking Flint water.

At one rally in Tucson, Arizona over the weekend, a Trump protester, who was being escorted out, was brutally beaten by a supporter in the stands. Just days before that, another Trump supporter was caught sucker-punching a protester.

The business mogul himself has come under fire for using language that doesn't necessarily dissuade protesters from acting out. In one Las Vegas rally, the candidate said of a protester that he would "like to punch him in the face," and at an Iowa rally, Trump addressed a protester, telling the crowd, "Knock the crap out of him, seriously, ok, just knock the hell... I promise you I will pay for the legal fees. I promise, I promise."
