More Women Come Forward Against Adult Star James Deen

December 6th 2015

Adult actress Nicki Blue just joined six other women who have accused adult star James Deen of sexual assault.

After Deen's ex-girlfriend Stoya accused him of sexual assault over Thanksgiving weekend, six other women have come forward with similar accusations, totaling seven women altogether.

After Stoya's initial tweets, Deen denied the allegations on Twitter:

Blue told the Daily Mail Online in a new interview that Deen sexually assaulted her after they finished working on a Kink Studios film together in San Francisco. After the crew wrapped up production, some of them went to The Big Easy, a bar downstairs, to hang out. Blue said that Deen and some others had been drinking and that Deen started slapping her rear end. She started giving him oral sex, which "was nice at first," but quickly "got really rough."

"I kept trying to pull my head up to say something, it was too rough. But he would just push my head back in so I was choking and I couldn't say anything. As he was doing it – this is the embarrassing part and why I didn't say anything – he said 'oh my God, I have to go to the bathroom" and he pissed in my mouth."

Blue said that she reacted by spiting out his urine and was visually upset, but that Deen responded by putting a beer bottle in her anus. Blue told the Daily Mail Online that she chose not to speak up because Deen was the star of the film. She also blamed Kink Studios for the way that the incident played out.

"There's a lot they could have done so that it didn't happen, so that people don't end up getting raped," Blue said.

Blue said she wrote about the encounter on a forum set up by Kink, but her post was deleted, and she was unable to post in the forum afterward. This led her to give up on reporting Deen because she felt her efforts would be futile. Like Tori Lux, who also accused Deen of sexual assault, Blue said that it's difficult for female sex workers to be taken seriously by authorities.

"When you're an adult actress, especially in BDSM, and you go to a cop and say 'Oh I've been raped by this guy after doing a scene', they are not going to take you seriously like if you were a normal person," Blue said.

After multiple allegations against Deen surfaced in the news, Kink severed ties with the actor, along with several other porn companies and organizations. Wood Rocket and Evil Angel dumped Deen following the slew of sexual assault allegations, and sex toy retailer Doc Johnson has reportedly scrapped its James Deen adult toy line as well. Deen has also reportedly resigned from the board of the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee (APAC), an organization that advocates on behalf of adult actors and actresses.

Last week, porn actress Ashley Fires told the Daily Beast that she refuses to work with Deen because he "almost raped [her]" one night at Kink Studios.

"I was getting out of the shower of the communal bathroom at Kink, I reach for my towel to dry off, and he comes up from behind me and pushes himself and his erection into my butt. He pushes me against the sink and starts grabbing on me and I was like, ‘No, no, no James, no,’ and he released me from his grasp, and says, ‘You know, later if you want to fuck around I’m in room whatever-it-was. I was like, ‘Fuck you.’ I didn’t even know this guy, he was so out of line and entitled with my body.”

Fires told BuzzFeed News in a separate interview that she was unsure of how to report Deen to Kink Studios at the time of the assault.

“Is there a complaint form you fill out?” she said "rhetorically," according to BuzzFeed News. “Is there a human resources department? How do you even go about making a complaint? I don’t know.”

So far, Deen has been accused of sexual assault by Blue, Fires, Stoya, Lux, Kora Peters, Amber Rayne, and a woman who asked to be identified as T.M. in an interview with LAist. Another ex-girlfriend of Deen, Joanna Angel, also described him as "literally the worst person I’ve ever met" after Stoya first spoke out. When the allegations against Deen began piling up, Stoya took to Twitter to show her support for the other victims:

Last week, Angel told SiriusXM’s “The Jason Ellis Show” that dating Deen was a nightmarish experience because he would verbally and physically abuse her.

“I have nothing nice to say about him,” Angel said, adding that he once nearly drowned her in a sink. "It started to feel like forever … I thought, I’m going to die here.”

Angel said that he then “threw [her] on the floor" and said, "You’re a horrible submissive. I’m bored. I’m going to go fuck someone else.”

Like Stoya, Angel was livid to find out that many on the Internet lauded Deen as a "feminist porn star" given the way he treated her as a girlfriend.

“At some point, he became revered as a feminist," Angel said. "It angered me! I remember being on an airplane and reading some women’s magazine … I didn’t understand. Where in his persona did they find something to latch on to? … This was a guy who said to me, ‘Girls on porn are nothing but holes for me to put my dick in.'”

Stoya recently gave her first public interview about the allegations to the Guardian, saying it took her "months and months and months, over a year of months, to be able to call it what it was — which was rape." Stoya revealed that she felt "numb" after the encounter took place.

“If you hold someone down and fuck them while they say ‘no’ and ‘stop’ and use their fucking safeword, that is rape," Stoya told the publication. "But when it first happened, I felt numb. And I went to work the next day. And I went to work the day after that. And I did a scene with him two days after, maybe three days after, I’m not sure. Then I felt like I’d been violated by someone I trusted.”
