Fox News host Megyn Kelly shook up the first Republican debate on Thursday night by calling out candidate Donald Trump for the way he has talked about women in the past.

When Kelly asked Trump about instances in which he has called women names such as "fat pigs," "disgusting animals," and "dogs," he responded that he has only ever said harsh words about comedian Rosie O'Donnell, whom he called a "disgusting" and "bad person" during an interview many years ago.

Kelly, however, pointed out that Trump has insulted more women than O'Donnell, and the Twitterverse celebrated the way she took him down.
