11 Ways Prominent Gay Marriage Opponents Are Reacting on Twitter

June 26th 2015

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Friday morning that same-sex marriage is a right nationwide in a historic decision on one of the defining issues of the last decade.

Reactions to the court's ruling were swift and strongly felt Friday, with reports from the court steps documenting the frenzied, jubilant reaction of gay rights supporters waving equality flags, chanting "Love doesn't hate," and spilling into the street and onto the Capitol grounds.
