On Monday morning, Caitlyn Jenner (formerly known as Bruce) graced the cover of Vanity Fair's July 2015 issue, and the media (and the Internet in general) focused on her appearance. Some of this was to be expected (Jenner did appear in a glamour shot on the cover of a magazine, after all), but the conversation went too far, with some even tactlessly joking Caitlyn looked better than ex-wife Kris Jenner.

Needless to say, Jenner didn't even have to wait a full day before facing the kind of sexist objectification all women know too well. That's why Jon Stewart mocked those who obsessed over Jenner's aesthetics in Tuesday night's episode of "The Daily Show."

“You see, Caitlyn, when you were a man, we could talk about your athleticism, your business acumen," Stewart said. "But now you’re a woman and your looks are the only thing we care about. Which brings us to phase two of your transition: Comparative Fuckability."

Regarding the cruel comparisons to Caitlyn and Kris, as well as comments about the resemblance between Caitlyn and "America Horror Story" star Jessica Lange, Stewart joked, “Look, we want to give a woman a compliment here. We just need to make sure another woman gets taken down a peg in the process.” 

Stewart also highlighted societal age discrimination against women, warning Jenner, "You came out at 65, and you’ve got another two years before you become invisible to society. Better make the most of it. Caitlyn Jenner, congratulations. Welcome to being a woman in America.”

It's reminiscent of Amy Schumer's recent "Last Fuckable Day" sketch in which a group of well-known Hollywood actresses, including Academy Award winner Patricia Arquette, poked fun at Hollywood's awful treatment of women.
