Earlier today, Donald Trump tweeted that he would invite Bill Clinton's former lover Gennifer Flowers to the presidential debate in retaliation for Hillary Clinton making noted Trump critic Mark Cuban her guest — and now it appears she may attend.

According to Buzzfeed, in the past, Flowers originally didn't want to be a "sideshow" by attending such events, but now she is planning on making an appearance. “Ms. Flowers has agreed to join Donald at the debate,” her assistant told the site in an email.

Buzzfeed was unable to confirm if Trump actually wanted to invite Flowers to the debate. Donald Trump had originally said he would not bring Hillary Clinton's marriage into the debate — Bill Clinton testified in 1998 that he did have an affair with Flowers in the 1980s — but it now appears he has changed his tune.
